Crispy Tofu with Sweet and Sour Sauce
This is a really simple dish that can be whipped up in less than half an hour!
Two pieces of Tau Kwa
Some thinly sliced cucumber, pressed dry
Some thinly sliced carrot, pressed dry
Some spring onion, shredded
Some corn flour
1 tbsp Thai Sweet Chilli sauce
1 tbsp plum sauce
1 tbsp water
1) coat the tau kwa with a sprinkle of salt and corn flour. Deep fry till golden brown.
2) cut the crispy tau kua into quarters and top with cucumber, carrots and spring onion.
3) Mix the sauce
4) Drizzle over the tau kua.
5) Serve while still hot!
I looks really red under a different lighting, but not to worry, it really isn’t that spicy!
